# jinko refund preview

> Preview the customer's refund and penalty before committing

Preview the customer refund and penalty for the whole booked flight item. Nothing is cancelled. Pass the returned quote field to refund commit --quote and the refund object verbatim as JSON to --acknowledged.

## Options

| `--booking-ref <ref>` | Yes | Jinko booking reference | |
| `--last-name <name>` | No | Traveler surname, required for guest lookup; owning credentials may omit it. | |
| `--item-id <id>` | No | Stable booked item ID from get-booking; required when several items of this domain exist. JSON: item\_id. | |
| `--user-intent <text>` | No | the end user's request in their own words, forwarded to Jinko for observability and relevance (avoid PII). Env fallback: JINKO\_USER\_INTENT. JSON: `intent.user_intent`. | |
